I have stayed at Budapest, Bohem Art Hotel for the third time and can still recommend it.
With a few minor limitations it makes a very good impression overall. The rooms are clean and the room service is pretty thorough. The size of the rooms is due to the building itself. Accordingly, you can not expect a particularly great view, either courtyard or the street. You should definitely avoid rooms facing the street if you do not want to be woken up early by the truck with the hotel laundry at five o'clock. A real shortcoming for me are at most the showers. Except for a glass, this is open, so that it is almost impossible to take a shower without the bathroom half under water.
The breakfast is, as it is mentioned by many other guests, really good.
The location is perfect for all kinds of excursions. The tourist area Vaci Utca runs directly parallel to a street next door. The big market hall is 100m down the street. And with the station Fövam Ter a bus, tram and metro in just five minutes to choose from.
The staff is very hard-working, helps in advance and also fulfills special requests. For example, my free taxi shuttle, which I did not need, was provided for a colleague who arrived in Budapest a few hours after me.
My tip: book definately on the hotel's side. Booking platforms are not cheaper. But on the side of the hotel you get a discount when booking three days, for example. And also the mentioned free airport transfer.
